GOAL GETTERS ACADEMY

At Goal Getters Academy your child is more than just a player. They are a future leader, a teammate, and a confident go-getter in the making.

Founded by two Sarasota athletes who went on to play soccer at the professional level, our mission is to give back by creating a program that helps kids shine both on the field and in life.

Through fun and engaging after school sessions for Pre-K through middle school, children learn more than soccer. They discover the joy of teamwork, build lasting confidence, develop important life skills, and experience the excitement of chasing their goals with courage and creativity.

At Goal Getters Academy, it is not just about kicking a ball, it is about giving kids a safe and positive environment where they can grow, stay active, make friends, and believe in themselves. Every child deserves the chance to feel like a champion, and here we help them step into that moment with pride.

Our Approach

At Goal Getters Academy, kids learn and grow through an age-appropriate curriculum designed to build skills and confidence step by step. Our youngest players start with fun games that develop balance, coordination, and the basics of soccer. As they grow, we introduce more advanced skills like dribbling, ball control, and striking.

Every stage is designed to keep soccer fun while teaching important skills that support focus, teamwork, and creativity. By progressing through our program, your child will build a strong foundation for lifelong fitness and a love of the world’s most popular game.

That is why we create an environment that is fun, positive, and nurturing where every child is encouraged to try new things, make friends, and grow with confidence. By focusing on encouragement and teamwork, we give our little soccer stars the perfect place to shine on and off the field.

OUR PROMISE

We understand how valuable your time is, and we want to make being part of Goal Getters Academy as easy as possible for busy families.

Each program includes one

one-hour session per week right on your child’s campus. At final dismissal, our coaches safely escort students to the school sports field, so there is no extra driving, waiting, or added stress on your schedule. Your child gets high quality soccer training in a safe and familiar setting, while you get peace of mind knowing everything is taken care of.

Meet the Coaches

All Goal Getters coaches are licensed, CPR certified, and SafeSport certified, bringing the highest standards of training and safety to every session.

JIVAN RODRIGUEZ

Jivan Rodriguez is a seasoned coach with years of experience training athletes from elementary school through the collegiate level. His journey as a player took him across the globe, competing professionally in Brazil, Croatia, Portugal, and Spain, as well as in the USL League Two, UPSL, and the U.S. Open Cup. This international background gives him a deep understanding of the game and the pathways young athletes can pursue.

Beyond his playing career, Jivan has dedicated himself to developing youth players of all ages. He is known for creating training environments that are both challenging and supportive, allowing athletes to sharpen their technical skills while growing in confidence and discipline. His ability to connect with players of different ages and backgrounds makes him a respected mentor on and off the field.

As a coach, Jivan leads by example. His professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellence make him a role model for the next generation, inspiring young athletes to approach the game with passion, respect, and determination.

LOGAN MORIARTY

Logan Moriarty is a Sarasota local who grew up in the Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch area and has dedicated his career to developing the next generation of players. As a youth, he competed with top programs including Clearwater Chargers DA and IMG Academy, winning state and regional championships. He went on to play at Thomas University in Georgia, serving as team captain and earning All-American honors, and later played semi-professionally with IMG, St. Pete Aztecs, and Sarasota Metropolis, winning multiple UPSL titles.

Beyond his playing career, Logan has built a strong reputation as a coach, working with players from pre-K through advanced academy levels. He has coached with West Florida Flames and Braden River Soccer Club, where he served as Boys Director of Coaching, Camp Director, and assistant coach for a USL2 team. His sessions focus on developing technical skills, confidence, and a love for the game.

As a coach, Logan leads with energy and dedication. His local roots and professional experience make him a mentor and role model, inspiring young athletes to reach their goals while enjoying the journey.
